The Affordable Health Care Act will cost less than we believed

I was doing some research on the Affordable Health Care Act for a project at school.  When I set out to do the project I was against the Affordable Health Care Act.  We’ve   been hearing now for a while how the AFHA is bad for the country and how it is going to end up costing America trillions of dollars. Opponents have said it was going to cost wages and jobs. It is common place for people who oppose an issue to state opinion as though it were fact. I set out against the AHCA and searched out reports and articles to validate my opposition. Since researching this issue, and based on reliable information I will tell you why the AHCA will cost America less than we are being told.
The CBO (Congressional Budget Office) put out a report that says “The Affordable Care Act will cost $5 billion less than originally projected for 2014, according to a Congressional Budget Office report released Monday. From 2015 to 2024, the law is now expected to cost $1.38 trillion, or $104 billion less than prior projections, with a $36 billion cost in 2014.” (Kennedy, 2014). One note of interest is that in this same report they state the law will also reduce the deficit.
It pays to do our own research so we’ll be persuaded by what we have been able to find out and perhaps verify for ourselves. It appears the AHCA is more affordable than we first believed.
